Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch Opens Oct. 1st!

Fall brings cooler weather and the opening of a  favorite family attraction on October 1st, the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch.  The pumpkin patch is located at the Double Oak Ranch, has loads of fun things for the whole family and the best part is all activities are Free ($5 Parking)!  It is open October 1 – October 31st from 9am-7pm.

Of course there are pumpkins to purchase (for as little as $1.00), but there are plenty of other things to keep kids entertained for a fun afternoon.  They have a hayride that runs all day on the weekends, but you will need to call for a reservation during the week.   The kids will find face painting, bounce houses, wooden character cut-outs (great for pictures) and even a maze made out of hay bales.  This is always one of the favorites of the daughters of Flower Mound Family publisher, Jill Noble.

There are picnic tables for use, so pack a lunch or buy drinks and snacks from the pumpkin patch.  Keep in mind, if you have a large party, you will need to call ahead to reserve picnic tables for your group.

So pack up your families and head on down to the pumpkin patch for a hoopin’ hollerin’ time. 

Be sure to bring a few canned goods to donate to Christian Community Action (CCA) to help feed the needy over the holiday season.
