Debra Duffy, DDS is doing their annual Halloween Candy Buy-Back to keep that sugary candy from hitting your kiddos teeth.  For each pound of Halloween candy traded in, the pediatric dentist office will give your child $1 cash.

All you have to do is show up during office hours, November 1-4th, bring a canned food item for the food drive for the Austin Street Shelter and bring in your Halloween candy.  All canned food and candy that they collect will be donated to the shelter.

Sole Groove Dance Fitness

Flower Mound, TX 75028

We have a new dance studio in town ladies, and it’s for adults!  Last week, we had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer Ludlam, the owner of the the new Sole Groove Dance Fitness in Flower Mound.  As a “retired” dancer myself, I was so excited to see the new studio and find out what it was all about.  I think anyone that has spent any amount of time dancing in their past, or has ever wanted to try, wishes they could find a place that they could steal an hour to dance their hearts out, not to mention burn off some calories.

Jennifer says, “We wanted to create a place for adults to feel comfortable, have fun, and get a great workout all at the same time.  Not everyone is comfortable in a gym.”  Sole Groove Dance Fitness is an adult-oriented dance studio specializing in exercise fused dance classes designed to make workouts fun for women of all fitness and dance levels.   At the studio you will find classes like:  Zumba, Nia, Bellydance, SharQui, Hoop Dancing, Burlesque, Bollywood and more.  They even offer drill team prep classes for those with drill team aspirations.

Sounds interesting and fun, right?  Guess What?  YOUR FIRST CLASS IS FREE!  So stop by, pick your favorite class and give it a go.  While you’re there, tell them FlowerMoundFamily.com sent you!
