Beer Bread – The Easiest Bread Ever!

Cold winter nights call for hot, homemade bread. Are you thinking, “Who has the time?” This bread is so easy to make. You mix it up in less than 2 minutes, bake it for 50 and you’ve got some great tasting homemade bread on the table. Oh, and don’t worry about the beer in the recipe, the alcohol content is baked out. Our 3 and 6 year olds love it! Make sure you use the SELF RISING FLOUR! ;-) |

| 3 Cups Self Rising Flour | That’s It! |
| 4 Tablespoons Sugar | Really! |

Mix together. Spread entire mixture into greased, standard size (8″ x 4″ x 2 1/2), loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes (or until golden brown on top). |
Winter Storm Clean Up

Winter Storm Cleanup (from the City) Residents with damaged tree limbs due to the winter weather are advised to follow the guidelines for bulk and brush collections. Cut brush into four foot lengths, tie up in bundles, and place curbside on regular bulk and brush collection day. A schedule of collection days can be found at http://www.flowermound.com/utilities/trash_recycling.php. Residents may also dispose of up to four cubic yards of debris (about a pickup truck full) once a month at the Camelot Landfill free of charge Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, 7 a.m. to noon. There is a charge for non-compactable items such as bricks, concrete, and composition shingles. Residents must show a current original garbage bill and driver’s license as proof of residency. The Camelot Landfill is located at 580 Huffines Blvd., Lewisville. For more information about bulk and brush collections, please call 972.539.7378. |
