Step one: Right Therapist.  Right Technique.

At Elements, they will work with you to exceed your expectations by matching the right therapist to your desired outcome.

Each massage session is customized to meet your specific needs  and often will incorporate techniques from each type of massage to ensure that you receive the best and most appropriate treatment.  Your massage may include Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Sports/Stretch, Hot Stone, or Swedish massage.

Step two:  Your Needs and The Right Pressure

An important part of insuring you receive the therapy you need right now is determining what type of pressure you prefer.  Their unique level system identifies the right pressure for you based on your needs.

• Level 1: gives a light and relaxing massage
• Level 2: gives a medium pressure massage with no specific trigger point ( knots) treatment
• Level 3: gives a medium to deep pressure massage including some trigger point work
• Level 4: very deep massage including trigger point (knots) work

Step three.  Combine the Right Techniques

Each therapist at Elements specializes in working out the tension by blending techniques from several types of massage.  Their massage therapists are trained in Swedish and deep tissue massage. Some have had advanced training in other techniques, and everyone has techniques in which they’re especially skilled or experienced.

So, what is the Rotational Approach To Learning?

Many learning centers use small-group instruction, where each instructor sees 3, 4, or even 5 students at one time.   Many times, small group instruction is very distracting to the children.  Add to that, when a tutor is working with one child, competition and intimidation is sometimes unavoidable factors for the other children.

Using the rotational approach, each child receives one-on-one instruction as they rotate through 3 stations, using different materials at each station.  Students who learn in one 30 and two 15 minute increments in different locations, with different materials, maximize their academic performance and concentration dramatically.  Research has shown this method can as much as triple a child’s attention and concentration!

What types of programs are offered at The Tutoring Center?

• “Geniuses in Training” for Reading or Math – If your child is falling behind in Reading or Math, this intense program will help them improve quickly, up to a full year’s improvement in 6 months (or about 40 sessions of instruction).  K-12
• “Little Geniuses in Training” Kindergarten Program – This program is for students currently enrolled in Kindergarten.  Research indicates that students who get a “head start” on skills prior to it being presented in 1st grade, do much better throughout the year and successive years.
• High Achiever Enrichment Programs in Writing, Pre-SAT, AP Math, and Study Skills – If your child is ahead of grade level and getting A’s and B’s, this program will guarantee your child’s ready for the tough challenges ahead.
• SAT/ACT Test Prep – This test prep program gives students the advantage of structured individualized instruction in a controlled environment for a fraction of the cost of competitors.

Dr. Tamra Deuser, of Max Health Family Medicine in Flower Mound is a Texas girl.  Growing up in Austin, she received her bachelors degree from the University of Texas in Chemical Engineering.  After working for Proctor & Gamble for 10 years, she received her calling to medicine.  By 2002, she had earned her doctorate and completed residency.  She is currently board certified in family medicine. Dr. Deuser acquired Max Health in 2006 and is actively involved in the community serving on the Board of Directors for Christian Community Action, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, Vista Ridge United Methodist Church and other events focusing on health needs within our community. Dr. Deuser understands both sides of medicine, doctor and patient. She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in October 2010, and after a year of surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, is currently cancer-free.  With the assistance of Kimberly Maris, PA-C, she was able to continue to serve the medical needs of Max Health’s current and new patients. Dr. Deuser believes in taking a hands-on approach to medical care. She says, “Healthcare is changing rapidly and can be very confusing.
