Plan your child’s next birthday party at Color Me Mine and you are sure to see many smiles!  Birthday parties are truly one-of-a-kind at Color Me Mine because each child takes home an original piece of art that they created themselves.   Throwing a party has never been easier for your 3+ year old birthday child!

• Choose a piece to paint ahead of time (up to $15).  You may choose a more expensive piece and simply pay the difference in cost.
• You will have a decorated table and balloons in the reserved “Party Room” for up to 2 hours to create the masterpieces and “party”.
• A dedicated team member will stay with your party and help with anything that you may need.
• Color Me Mine will handle all of your needs…the ceramics, the space, the staff, and the supplies.
• The staff will glaze and fire the pieces for you and they will be ready for pick-up five days after the party.

Studio Art House was founded by a family of artists for the sake of art!  Owner, Kathleen House, has been sharing her passion for art as an artist, teacher, mother and grandmother for over 40 years.  Along with her two daughters, co-founder Jennifer Rogers and curriculum director Kayli House Cusick, Kathleen has created a vibrant home for artists of all ages right here in Flower Mound.

Young Artists and Studio Artists work in small classes, studying a wide range of artists and art movements, as well as art elements, principles, concepts, and techniques.  The students use quality materials to draw, paint, sculpt, collage and printmake, while learning about artists from pre-history to today.  They also learn how to talk about their work, their classmates work and the work of famous artists using terms they can understand and apply.

Eight year-old Linda Berman met Clarabell the Clown when she and her older sister were in the “Peanut Gallery” on The Howdy Doody Show while vacationing in New York City with their parents. Linda didn’t know that meeting Clarabell would help her find her life’s purpose.

She began her clown career in Southern California more than 20 years ago. After attending a local clowning class at a community college, Linda began developing her clown personality. Heart Throb The Clown is a bundle of giggles and serious fun. She is 6 every year on her birthday and loves to play with children of all ages and sizes. Her favorite activities are soap bubble learning and fun, balloon sculpting and decorating, storytelling and face painting.

The author of 6 books on balloon sculpting and a Certified Balloon Artist (CBA), Linda has traveled across the US, to Canada, Europe and China as a performer and instructor. Linda says, “A favorite part of my job is seeing children’s (and adult) faces light up when they realize the beauty of a bubble when you don’t pop it.”

The Incredible Bubble Show is great birthday party entertainment and is a wonderful show for Libraries, Schools, Pre-Schools, Summer Camps, Vacation Bible Schools and lots of civic events. Linda is the only performer that presents this show!

Participants learn everything they ever wanted to know about soap bubbles and more. They will learn new skills to make bubbles with their hands and fingers and by using lots of ordinary items that they will see make great bubble makers. Yoga for kids is a fun, creative way to develop important gross and fine motor skills.  The use of animated poses and basic stretching promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness.  Breathing and visualization techniques teach kids how to focus, relax and develop self-control.

Each session is taught by Mrs. Liza Doll, a former elementary school teacher, and is alive with games, magical journeys and dance.  Using interactive games and animated poses, kids will learn about animals, nature, and basic anatomy.

Your little yogis will improve concentration and focus, stimulate their imagination and help release energy in a fun, safe enviroment.  Yoga is non-competitive and there is no judgement about how a child does a pose or plays a game.  Doing a pose “perfectly” is not a goal.  Yoga nurtures children’s inner-strength, confidence, and self esteem as well as love for one’s self, inside and out.
