Chipotle Mexican Grill has opened a location in Flower Mound and burrito lovers are cheering enthusiastically!  Cheering because we now have one of these great restaurants close to home and because we can get a gourmet burrito, made to order while we watch, in a fast food setting.  Each ingredient is laid out in front of you so you can choose the perfect combination to make your perfect meal. You can watch the process as your burrito, bowl, or salad is prepared exactly the way you want it and handed to you almost instantly.

At Chipotle, they make food right.  100% of the pork and chicken and 85% of the beef that they use are naturally raised.  They have used zero trans fat frying oil since 2004 and do not use cheese or sour cream containing rBGH.  All of this combined makes healthier Mexican Food for us!

Fish City Grill is a full-service neighborhood seafood joint, serving quality seafood and libations, with a friendly, laid-back attitude.  So, you guessed it…it’s perfect for the whole family!

Fish City Grill began when owners, Bill and Lovett Bayne, opened a 12 table, 1,200 square foot restaurant near SMU called Half Shells.  After a second location opened in Plano, they knew they were on to something…small, casual, full-service seafood joints tucked into unique and/or upscale neighborhoods.  They vowed to continue with the restaurants, changed the name to Fish City Grill, and the rest is history.

At Fish City, the menu boasts exceptional quality and value.  They offer food that is both comfortable – Fried Catfish and Pot Roast – and innovative – Oyster Nachos and Thai Coconut Shrimp Salad.  

We mentioned they were serious about seafood…they offer six to eight fresh seafood specials that change twice a day on their chalkboards.  This allows them to cater to our tastes right here in Flower Mound and also take advantage of the seasonality of various fresh seafood availability.
