Fish City Grill is a full-service neighborhood seafood joint, serving quality seafood and libations, with a friendly, laid-back attitude.  So, you guessed it…it’s perfect for the whole family!

Fish City Grill began when owners, Bill and Lovett Bayne, opened a 12 table, 1,200 square foot restaurant near SMU called Half Shells.  After a second location opened in Plano, they knew they were on to something…small, casual, full-service seafood joints tucked into unique and/or upscale neighborhoods.  They vowed to continue with the restaurants, changed the name to Fish City Grill, and the rest is history.

At Fish City, the menu boasts exceptional quality and value.  They offer food that is both comfortable – Fried Catfish and house made gumbo- and innovative – Oyster Nachos and Smokin’ Hot Shrimp.

We mentioned they were serious about seafood…they offer six to eight fresh seafood specials that change twice a day on their chalkboards.  This allows them to cater to our tastes right here in Flower Mound and also take advantage of the seasonality of various fresh seafood availability.

Here’s are a few more reasons you will want to jump in your car and head on over to Fish City Fish City Grill…

Thank you to our Veterans and those currently serving...

In honor of  Memorial Day, to remember and support all who have fought for our freedom, both before us and now, we have compiled this list from our readers of our loved ones who have, or are currently serving, in our military.  This is a permanent list, so we may remember and honor… If you have a name that you would like added to this list, just comment below the post and we will add it for you.

Thank you, our brave soldiers.
How can we ever repay?

Their courage deems utmost respect
Their mission clear, our way protect

It’s sure to each what they must to
No give or take, keep freedom true

With the grand old flag, they’ll unite
Whenever they must, march to fight

A life we know counts hard on them
Without their ranks, hellish problem

If our Armed Forces ceased to be
How long could we survive as free

Let’s well realize the truthful score
We need our troops just like before

Boils down to this, words to engrave
Land of The Free, Due to The Brave

God Bless each one for being there
Their loved ones too, unending care

Hope born from love touches the will
Do back them strong, means to fulfill

Americans – Who Serve To Give
One Nation – Under God We Live

We all remember EXACTLY what we were doing at the moment, on this day, 14 years ago, when we heard the news.   We learned what it truly means to be a proud American.  We learned that Americans stand up for one another.  Sacrifice for one another. Pray for one another.  And fight for one another.  We learned that together we have hope and in the end will rise up with one another.  We Will Never Forget.

We Will Never Forget.  We Will Remember…Always.
