For some students, that means a solid review of previous material. Others benefit from previewing upcoming concepts. Most students will get some of both. Summer programs are available to all currently enrolled Mathnasium members. Summer-only Mathnasium memberships are also available. Two or more sessions per week, about 60–90 minutes per session, is the ideal schedule for this program. See specific summer programs below. |
| Mathnasium is a math learning center in Flower Mound. In their words: They make math make sense. Center Director/Owner, Shital Patel’s, love for teaching can be traced back to childhood when her favorite role playing activity was “school”. Fast forward 9 years with a bachelor of science in Mathematics Education, a Master of Science in Instruction and Curriculum and years of experience teaching mathematics to kids from 6th – 12th grade, she has now opened the Flower Mound location of Mathnasium. Shital says, “My passion is teaching children mathematics and I love to see the expression on students’ faces when they have their ‘ah-ha’ moment.” |  |

At Mathnasium, it’s more than just math tutoring. It’s a learning center where kids can go after school to boost their math skills, and have some fun while they’re at it. They teach math in a way that makes sense to kids. Each child is given an assessment upon enrollment, then they receive one-on-one instruction and a customized learning plan based on their individual needs. The results are an increase in overall confidence, better school performance and a more positive attitude towards math. |
