The Nutcracker Roundup 2011

For as long as I can remember, the Nutcracker has always been a family tradition. It was the first chance to wear my sparkling new Christmas dress while I was transported to a magical place with sugar plum fairies, dancing toys and snow queens. Now that I have children of my own, I get to re-live the fairytale every year as I watch their eyes light up as the house lights go down. I love to see their excitement the first time the Nutcracker comes to life and saves Clara from the giant mice. Exposing your children to the Nutcracker ballet will broaden their appreciation of the arts and classical music without their even knowing it…and this is a gift for a lifetime…from you. Our side of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex offers many different performances of the Nutcracker, so we’ve rounded some of them up for you to make your search for the perfect show, that much easier. Happy Holidays! |
