Easter Activities In and Around Flo Mo!

Lots of fun is planned in Flower Mound and nearby areas to celebrate the arrival of our favorite over-sized bunny rabbit.  It’s a fun time for families over the next couple of  weekends with lots of Free Activities!  We hope you all have time to spend with your families during this festive time.  Enjoy your jelly beans, chocolate bunnies and Little Peeps while you ride that sugar high!


Egg Scramble in Flower Mound

Easter Egg Scramble – Jack’s Hilltop Park (across from Lamar Middle School)

A special appearance by the Easter Bunny will highlight the 31st Annual Easter Egg Scramble at Jake’s Hilltop Park.  Lots of candy, available for the taking, at this free event. Activities begin at 1:30pm and the scramble begins promptly at 2:30. Please call 972.874.6276 for additional info.

28th Annual Funny Bunny Festival in Lewisville
March 28th, 9:30am – 12:30pm

Come visit with the Funny Bunny on March 28th, from 9:30am-12:30pm, play carnival games, and get your face painted. Photos can be taken with the Funny Bunny for a minimal charge. 


This year’s egg hunts will be at four different times. Each one is open for all age groups. Within each egg hunt, there will be a designated area for those age 2 and under. You will only be allowed entrance into one egg hunt. Strollers will not be permitted to enter in the egg hunt area. Egg Hunt participants ages 2 and under should be accompanied by only one parent.

Each year the City of Highland Village holds their annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Unity Park baseball/softball field facility. This event is free to the public and includes pictures with the Easter Bunny, face painting, bounce house, Freddy’s Frozen Yogurt and Fire Engine.  More information

Egg Hunt Times & Age Divisions:
10 a.m. 7-9 yrs.
10:30 a.m. 0-2 yrs.
11 a.m. 5-6 yrs.
11:30 a.m. 3-4 yrs.
12 p.m. 10 and up/all ages

*Note: The “All Ages Hunt” at noon is for children that did not participate in their age group hunt that day. Out of respect for others, no “repeat” hunters, please.

40th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Historic Nash Farm in Grapevine - FREE
March 28, 2015 – 9:30-12:30

Take a trip to the farm this weekend for the City of Grapevine’s Annual Community Egg Hunt at Nash Farm, 626 Ball Street. Mr. and Mrs. Bunny will be hiding 1000’s of eggs, candy and prizes at Nash Farm for a hopping good time. Special prize eggs will be hidden in each age division. Let their face painters turn you into a bunny and enjoy other activities such as bounce-houses, petting zoo, hay rides, and more. There will be five different hunts by age division. Bring your camera for some great photo opportunities. The Lions Club will also be collecting used eye glasses to recycle to those in need.Sponsored by the Grapevine Heritage Lions Club

Please help provide eggs for all our visitors. Drop off two dozen candy-filled Easter eggs at the Faith Voyage desk.

Invite your friends to the brand new Easter Hop on Saturday, April 4, 4 p.m. in the main parking lot. We’ll have 3,500 filled Easter eggs for families to collect as they go from tent to tent, and everyone will get the chance to hear the Easter story.

This community event is free! Kids can also get take their picture with the Easter Bunny or go for a train ride ($2). Bottles of water will be sold for $1, with all proceeds benefitting our Thirsty charity: water campaign to raise funds to bring clean water to a community without it. Then after the Easter Hop, join us for Saturday evening Easter worship.
