Each year, The Summit Club invites a local church to provide the program. This year, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is presenting the service.  The Mound is located near the intersection of Long Prairie Road (FM2499) and Flower Mound Road (FM3040) on the northeast corner. The Flower Mound. The Flower Mound is a 12 acre native prairie grassland that rises fifty feet above the surrounding area which provides a 360 degree view of the North Texas landscape. Scientific studies
identified over 300 species of native flowers growing on The Flower Mound.

The property is managed by The Flower Mound Foundation on behalf of the residents of Flower Mound.

Local merchants will provide light refreshments and coffee after the services.
